In the second quarter of 2023, the top travel and local apps on Android in Saudi Arabia demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Nusuk (Eatmarna Previously) saw a significant fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 124K in late March and peaking at 134K in early April. The downloads gradually declined to approximately 10K by mid-June, before a slight rebound to 24K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, beginning at 461K and dipping to a low of 120K in early June, before recovering to 197K by the end of June.

almatar: Book Flights & Hotels experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at nearly 30K in mid-June. Active users also saw a positive trend, growing from 18.6K in late March to a peak of 38K in mid-June, followed by a slight decline to 22K by the end of the quarter.

Wego - Flights, Hotels, Travel maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 16K in late March and experiencing minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at 9.4K. Weekly active users remained stable, hovering around 100K to 118K throughout the quarter.

Ego showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 19K in late March and peaking at 38K in mid-June. Active users followed a similar trajectory, rising from 60K to a peak of 91K during the same period, before slightly declining to 53K by the end of June.

invygo - monthly car rental displayed consistent growth in weekly downloads, starting at 4.7K in late March and reaching 14K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a steady upward trend, increasing from 23K to almost 40K throughout the quarter.
